One of the benefits to this experience abroad is meeting new people from around the world who somehow cross your path. Some will be tourists in your life and you will have a brief but wonderful time with them. Despite your best intentions, you may never see them again. Other people will make a meaningful imprint on your life and the connections that you make will provide unforeseeable opportunities. Either way, these people help mould some aspect of your life and your experience.
I don’t like saying goodbye. I never have. It’s my own superstition and I recognize that. I’d much rather say, “See you!”
Peter and Estie, I wish we had a chance to hang out more. I will try my best to cross paths with you, again. Best of luck in your travels! <3
